There is only one word for this video, well, two words…bull shit. Don’t believe everything you hear, ask from where it’s coming and what possible motives they may have to alter the way you think. The President’s health care proposals are not exactly like the Canadian healthcare system and they’re not meant to kill any of our beloved elderly, contrary to what I’ve heard from some dubious sources.

Remember, the government runs all of the branches of the military and give medical care and insurance to the soldiers. The government runs the Medicare and Medicaid administrations and they run the Pentagon, FBI, CIA and IRS, FEMA, etc.. Both Federal and State governments run municipalities and services for all of us and have since the founding of our country. These things have to be run by the government and have been run sometimes better sometimes worse than they could have been run but the fact remains, these things work. I’ve travelled all over the world and compared to most places our government run services are run really well. Write down all the things in your life that the government runs and you’ll be amazed at the length of that list.

Don’t fear our government’s involvement in citizen services, fear bad government’s involvement. The lack of government oversight led to the creation of Credit Default Swaps and other barely legal financial schemes each factors to the crumbling of our financial systems that DIDN’T have enough government involvement to protect us from the greed and irresponsibility of the private financial markets.
