Wrong but Right

Well, it's over and I was wrong. At this point, though, I feel all has worked it's way through the strangest election of my life. There is a new sense of hope that is very appealing and our new president can not only talk in full sentences he can also complete full, nuanced statements, speaking to us as if we're adults. Nice for a change.

I've been "laid-off" and have become one of the statistics amassed and growing of others slipping out of the grid as our compulsive consumerism slows with a screeching of smashing metals against each other and the road.

No worries, this is probably a good purging and may even be a cathartic event that we'll emerge from as a better and more advanced culture. Gone will be the many and shallow stereotypes produced by generalists of no note. We'll all be living in the moment like our dogs do, free from the past and uninterested in the future. Mankind will be polishing our mutual self to a fine shining finish that will reflect our bliss and progress.

Peace
