A Letter to Ms. Malkin, writer for worldnetdaily.com

Dear Ms. Malkin,
I read your article on worldnetdaily.com today and have a couple of questions that I would appreciate your answering for yourself.

Are we safer now then before 9/11?

Are there less or more terrorists fighting a war against us today as compared to before 9/11?

Did the war in Iraq eliminate terrorism in Iraq and thus make us safer at home?

Has Bush ever tasted the reality of war?

Has Bush ever looked at a man and killed him with his gun?

Would Al Quaeda have attacked us on 9/11 if we had taken our military out of Saudi Arabia after the first Gulf War?

How morally indignant should we as a people be about the innocent lives lost in war when reflected against the fire bombing of Japan’s cities during WWII? (recall that Bin Laden declared war on us before the 93 TTs bombing)

If the Republicans are justifying the attack on Iraq by saying that Saddam had given money to the homicide terrorist bomber’s families in Palestine and harbored terrorists, why are we supporting the Saudi Royal family who has and continues to bankroll terrorist organizations, for the Royals self preservation, world wide?

Was Iran more dangerous then Iraq?

Using the same logic as was used for the invasion of Iraq, should we invade Iran or Pakistan or Malaysia or North Korea?

If you lived in one of those countries would you feel safer after we invaded Iraq or more fearful that we’ll attack you next?

If you lived in one of those countries what would you do to prepare for our attack?

If we hadn’t invaded Iraq would the young and western leaning secular opposition party in Iran have won or at least participated in the elections there against the Theocrats now in power?

Are the Iranian Theocrats stronger or weaker today because of our invasion of Iraq?

Are the Muslim radical fundamentalists more organized and effective in the Middle East then the secular, western and democratic leaning political parties in the area?

If and when there is an election in Iraq, which political/religious parties will be better able to motivate the population to vote for them?

What will Bush do if a pro fundamentalist government is elected in Iraq and aligns itself with Iran who has nuclear capabilities?

What good is our huge and expensive military machine against the terrorist cells world wide and against countries that have only terrorism as a military weapon against their enemies?

As a human with human instincts about people, just like you have, I look into the eyes of President Bush and sense his self righteousness and cocky, undeserved self confidence and I fear the dangers that a blind and close minded attitude inevitably brings to the decisions that it makes for us in a position of such power.  If his information was erroneous, which it was, and he didn’t “lie” to the American people but made a mistake, then as the CEO of our country he should shoulder the blame and resign.

Thank you for your time.
Regards,
David
